The anaerobic digester arrives

The Anaerobic Digester’s parts

The digester is essentially a 5cm tank, sealed by hermetic tightness, built entirely with high density Poly Propylene (PPH). This tank is gifted with 3 lateral taps and 3 temperature probes, placed on three different levels (high, medium, low), so to be able to monitor the temperature and sample the mud in the digesting process on three different levels, in order to periodically verify the internal mixing effectiveness and the biological process course. The complete mixing is remitted, essentially,  to a propeller stirrer which has got three series of 3 blades placed on 3 different levels, and actioned by an electric motor gifted with the right reducer and held in oil bath. The tank is provided with all the devices useful for the monitoring of the level, and also useful to ensure the charge, the discharge and the mud recirculation without letting the air enter the digester.

The plant’s accessories: switchboard, control panel, recirculation and mud heating and reactive measuring

All of the systems which are auxiliary and necessary for the right digester gear have been reunited into an only skid, gifted with:

  1. General switchboard with control panel

  2. Lobe pumps for the mug recirculation

  3. Tube-tube exchanger for the mug heating

  4. Probes for the control of pH, ORP, T

  5. Metering pumps

  6. Tanks for the reactive storage

Flow device for the biogas

The biogas exiting the digester needs to be treated to knock down the smelly and dangerous substances, before being discharged to the air or in torch. The flow device is made out with two tanks in sequence: the first one has got, essentially, the function of eliminating the dragging and the condensate of the biogas which is produced into the digester before being dipped into the second device, where it is going to be treated, effectively, with an alkaline solution.
